Marisol

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but my heritage is 100% Guatemalan. Both of my parents and grandparents were born and raised in Guatemala. My parents immigrated to the United States in their mid 20’s looking for new opportunities. They taught me to be grateful for everything I have, to work hard in life, set goals, and always give back to others.
I took my first yoga class 6 years ago and fell in love with the practice. I began the journey to blend my passion of yoga and teaching -three years ago. SOL Textiles is a true reflection of who I am and what I stand for. It was born from the idea that was planted by my parents years ago, the simple lesson of “giving back”. The weaves we use are like a kaleidoscope, reminding us we are all connected in the fabric of life.
